North 40 Mile 4-H Club getting ready for achievement day for lamb projects

On April 1st, the lamb members of the North 40 Mile 4-H Club went to get their lambs. We all brought our stock trailers to the Langeweg’s farm and left them there because we were taking one big stock trailer to get all the lambs.

The lambs came from a farm near Rolling Hills.

There were 17 lambs bought and 13 sheep members. Once we got to the Langeweg’s farm, we weighed and vaccinated the lambs and took them home. The lamb’s weights were between 43 to 71 pounds.

We need to feed them, water them, and halter break them for about two months, and then show and sell them at achievement day. Achievement day will be on June 18th at the Burdett arena if you are interested in coming. Thank you for reading my article!
