County of Forty Mile

High-speed internet service is coming to rural communities in the County of Forty Mile through a project supported by the Government of Alberta and the Government of Canada. This investment is part of a broader effort to expand reliable broadband access across rural Alberta and ensure residents, farms, and local businesses can connect to the digital services they rely on every day.

Through this project, high-speed internet infrastructure will be expanded to connect households in Foremost, Etzikom, and Manyberries. Improved connectivity will support economic development, education, healthcare access, and communication for residents across the region.

“The County of Forty Mile recognizes and appreciates the financial support provided by the Province of Alberta through the Alberta Broadband Strategy, which is helping bring modern broadband infrastructure to rural communities across the province,” reads a statement from the County.
