Redcliff council will have one open seat come election time

Redcliff residents will have the opportunity to once again vote for familiar councillors come Oct. 16.
Mayor Ernie Reimer will be seeking his second term as mayor after being being a councillor for the three previous years.
Couns. Larry Leipert will be seeking his second term, Cathy Crozier will be looking to sit in her chair for a third term, Dwight Kilpatrick will try to put his tireless efforts into a ninth term, while Eric Solberg will be going for his fourth term and Jim Steinke will put his 22 years to the test to seek his eighth term.
Coun. Chere Brown has announced she will not be running for council this time around.
