The Susan Andersen Library will reopen to the public June 23.
The reopening date came after it was reported earlier in the month that the library was aiming for a month end opening with no set date.
Safety measures that will have to be followed include: no unattended kids under the age of 12 will be allowed in the building, curbside pick up still being an option, readers are encouraged to use the online system to order books and come and pick them up.
Four people are only allowed in at a time and there will be a greeter at the door to talk about protocols.
There will be no access to computers and washrooms at the start.
The public will be allowed in from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Friday.
There will be no evening or Saturday hours to begin the reopening.
