BATUS moving equipment this week

BATUS soldiers are conducting their semi-annual military equipment moving period this week.
The equipment will be moved to the railway tracks that run parallel to the Trans-Canada Highway from Sept. 21-25.
The activity will run intermittently from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will circumvent the Hamlet of Suffield to minimize the disruption as much as possible.
Once the equiupment arrives at the tracks, it will be shipped to Montreal by rail before being sent back to the UK.
The movement happens twice a year where the equipment is shipped back and repaired or deployed to other operational environments.
