Fatal MVC on Twp. Rd. 120

A 22-year old Medicine Hat man has died following a motor vehicle collision (MVC) on Township Road 120, south of Medicine Hat.
According to a statement issued by the Redcliff RCMP. who responded to a call of a two-vehicle collision at approximately 4:45 p.m., along with Alberta Sheriffs, Fire, and EMS.
The investigation has determined that a westbound Chevrolet pickup truck was attempting to overtake several vehicles when it collided with a semi truck and trailer that was making a left turn.
The 22-year old man was transported to hospital in serious condition and succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the deceased is not being released at the request of the family.
The RCMP would like to thank the public for their cooperation in avoiding the area as Township Road 120 was closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation.
