The Hat Grannies for Africa are hosting a quilting sale Saturday
The Pop up Quilting Fabric Sale follows a successful ‘car boot’ sale for yarn and yarn-related notions on Aug. 29.
People can purchases quilting cottons, cotton blends and a variety of quilting notions.
The sale takes place on Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 17 at 617 Second Avenue SE in Medicine Hat .
There will be a $1 admission at the door, all Alberta Health protocols will be followed, masks must be worn and cash only.

The Hats Grannies for Africa is a creative group who dedicate personal time and effort to raise money for the Grandmother-to-Grandmother Campaign, which an initiative of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The funds are distributed to community group in sub-Saharan Africa that support grandmothers that are tasked with raising children who are affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
