Local elections have a direct impact on our daily lives, from the quality of our roads to community programs and local business support. As the upcoming municipal election approaches, it’s more important than ever for residents to be informed and engaged. Understanding who the candidates are and what they stand for is a critical part of making a responsible choice at the ballot box.

Two key events in the Foremost and Burdett areas are scheduled to help you meet the candidates, ask important questions, and hear their visions for our community’s future. Attending these forums is one of the best ways to prepare yourself to vote.

Bow Island & District
Chamber Election Forum 

The Bow Island/Burdett and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Election Forum to give you a platform to hear from all the candidates in one place. This structured event allows for a direct comparison of their stances on key local issues. It’s an excellent opportunity to see how they perform under pressure and articulate their plans for the district.

Foremost & District Chamber Meet & Greet 

If you prefer a more informal setting, the Foremost & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Meet & Greet. This event allows for one-on-one conversations with the candidates. You can ask the specific questions that matter to your family, business, or neighbourhood in a relaxed, personal atmosphere.
