Transport Canada finds no evidence of wrongdoing by HALO

Transport Canada reviewed a complaint concerning the incident that led to HALO’s suspension in September and cleared the air ambulance of any wrongdoing.

“Safety and security are Transport Canada’s top priorities. Transport Canada reviews all complaints to determine if an investigation is warranted and whether non-compliance has occurred under the Canadian Aviation Regulations,” read a Transport Canada statement sent to the News on Wednesday.

“Transport Canada received a complaint involving HALO air ambulance, which was thoroughly reviewed and found to show no evidence of non-compliance with aviation safety regulations.”
